Read below to learn more about a one-day event at the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center on March 2: 

Family program: "One Thousand and One Words"

What: Join “Mrs. Weisz,” author and illustrator of One Thousand and One Words, for an afternoon of family fun. Collaborate on a family art project to explore emotions and empathy, and learn how to use words to help rather than hurt. Families will be able to take their art projects home. Book signing will follow. Recommended for ages 6-10, accompanied by an adult.

When: Sunday, March 2, 2014, 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.
