Resurrection placed 12th overall (5,298 total pinfall) Jan. 7 at the 36-team Prospect Invite at Brunswick Zone in Mount Prospect. The team bowled 3,520 (881,942,853,844) in the four-game morning session. In the afternoon 10-game Baker format, the Bandits capture the championship of their bracket with a pinfall of 1,778 (177 average) and going 4-1 in match play against Downers Grove South, Prospect, Schaumburg, Hononegah and Belvidere North.

Luisa Velez (Morton Grove) recorded the team’s high game of 254, the seventh-best of tournament. Luisa Velez averaged 188 over four games (755). Anastasia Marchiori recorded a 217 and boasted a 756 series.

Other standouts included: Sami Comiskey (211 high game, 725 series, 181 average); Alicia Gamboa (197, 660, 165 ave.); and Jennifer Voss of Niles (180, 624, 156 ave.).
