MORTON GROVE — The Morton Grove Park District wishes to extend a big thank you to the superb efforts of the village of Morton Grove Police and Fire departments along with the Park District maintenance staff who worked hard to ensure a safe environment for the Park District’s fireworks show.
In addition, the Park District wishes to extend a big thanks to all the people who attended the Independence Day fireworks show on July 4th and all the Park District staff who donated their time that evening.
The Park District’s effort to promote and produce a spectacular fireworks show would not have been possible without our major sponsor, Call One, the Morton Grove Post No. 134, American Legion and the many generous residents who made a monetary donation for the fireworks show.
We would also like to acknowledge the tireless efforts of the village’s Public Works staff and the many community volunteers who helped produce a wonderful Morton Grove Days festival over the weekend.
The Park District was pleased to be able to contribute materials and supplies to help facilitate running such a wonderful community event.
The efforts of all involved help to ensure a successful, family-friendly holiday event.
We hope to see everyone at Harrer Park in 2013!
