The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Morton Grove Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

DUI

Fernando Alanis-Hernandez, 41, of 5242 S. Tripp Ave., Chicago, was charged Oct. 31 with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and improper lane use. He was released on $1,000 bond with a Dec. 18 court date.

Police said an officer clocked Alanis-Hernandez’ SUV traveling 50 in a 35 mph zone on eastbound Dempster Street. The officer stopped him on the 6500 block of Dempster where he failed field sobriety tests, police said.

Delgernyan Bayasgalan, 38, of 2820 N. Greenwood, Chicago, was charged Oct. 30 with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use and speeding. He was released on $1,000 bond with a Nov. 29 court date.

Police said an officer clocked him traveling 49 in a 30 mph zone on eastbound Dempster. The officer stopped Bayasgalan who failed field sobriety tests, police said.

DRUGS

Matthew A. Kwapisz, 25, of 606 Westgate Terrace, Streamwood, was charged Oct. 24 with possession of drug paraphernalia and several traffic offenses. He was released on $2,000 bond with a Dec. 3 court date.

Police said an officer stopped Kwapisz at Beckwith and Lehigh for speeding and found a metal pipe in his pocket.

STALKING

Chris A. Martucci, 47, of 14 Summerset Court, Hawthorne Woods, was charged Oct. 29 with stalking in connection with the violation of a court order. He is to appear in court Nov. 29.

THEFT

Tracy D. Doss, 47, of 1924 W. 92nd Street, Chicago, was charged Oct. 31 with felony retail theft after a security agent at T. J. Maxx, 7250 Dempster St., saw him put a bottle of cologne valued at $20 in his pocket and leave the store, police said.

Clothing valued at $100 was taken Oct. 25 and a bicycle valued at $200 was taken Sept. 25 from an apartment building on the 5900 block of Lincoln Avenue. Both incidents were reported to police Oct. 25.
