REVOKED LICENSE
Othon Gomes, 26, of Morton Grove, was arrested Aug. 20 at 8500 Mason and charged with driving with a suspended drivers license. The subject reportedly gave improper identification to the officer. He has a court date of Sept. 4.
THEFT
Tatiana Salop, 54, of Niles, was arrested Aug. 21 at 7250 Dempster St. and charged with retail theft. The woman allegedly entered a store and concealed a bottle of hand cream and then walked past the last point of checkout without paying for the item. She has a Sept. 6 court date.
Vincent Butynies, 22, of Chicago, was arrested on Aug. 16 after entering a store at 6301 Oakton St., concealing items in the pocket of his pants and then leaving the store without paying for the items, according to police reports.
A skateboard was taken Aug. 17 from a park at 9201 Oriole.
A wallet containing change and a debit card was taken Aug. 17 from 6821 Dempster St. Police said no charges were made prior to the victim canceling the account.
Someone on Aug. 18 entered a vehicle at 9019 Luna and removed the vehicle’s manual.
DECEPTIVE PRACTICE
Someone on Aug 22 at 8630 Ferris reportedly attempted to open a credit-card account using the victim’s personal information, but was unsuccessful, police said.
