Morton Grove Police Blotter for the week of July 26, 2012

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Morton Grove Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
Lukasz Walus, 91, of 9210 Major, Morton Grove, was charged July 15 with driving under the influence of alcohol after he was stopped at Dempster Street and Waukegan Road. He was released on $3,000 bond with an Aug. 1 court date.
Allison S. Larkin, 32, of 7075 N. Cicero, Lincolnwood, was charged July 17 with driving under the influence of alcohol after she was stopped on the 7300 block of Dempster Street. She was released on $3,000 bond with a Sept. 4 court date.
Copper wire and copper plates valued at $1,000 were taken between May 16 and July 17 from the base of a cell tower on the 9100 block of Shermer Road.
A security agent at Dominick’s, 6931 Dempster St., saw a man on a video-surveillance camera July 18 put a bottle of wine valued at $13 in his shorts pocket and leave the store. The agent said he was unable to catch the man.
Two air-conditioning units valued at a total of $2,500 were taken July 16 from the back yard of a house on the 9400 block of Shermer Road.
Tools valued at $1,240 were taken July 14 from a van on the 6900 block of Lyons.
