A Des Plaines woman received two tickets following a three-vehicle accident about noon Jan. 16 at Dempster Street and Waukegan Road.
Officers ticketed Maria Limon, whose age was not listed in the report, for failing to provide proof of insurance and disobeying a traffic-control device.
According to police, Limon was driving west on Dempster when her vehicle ran a red light, striking two vehicles on southbound Waukegan as they turned to head east on a green arrow from the two turn lanes.
Police reported that no life-threatening injuries occurred, though three people were injured in the crash, a fire official said.
Two were taken to Advocate Lutheran General in Park Ridge and one was taken to Skokie Hospital in Skokie.
Morton Grove Fire Chief Frank Rodgers said at the time of the accident he did not know their conditions, but noted, “They were all conscious and alert.”
Traffic was impeded for about 45 minutes.
Limon received a Feb. 21 court date in Skokie Municipal Court.
