Morton Grove crash injures 3

Three people were injured in a three-vehicle crash Monday in north suburban Morton Grove.

The wreck happened about noon at the intersection of Dempster Street and Waukegan Road, Morton Grove Fire Department Chief Frank Rodgers said.

Three people were injured in the crash, Rodgers said. Two were taken to Advocate Lutheran General in Park Ridge and one was taken to Skokie Hospital in Skokie.

Rodgers did not know their conditions, but said “they were all conscious and alert.”

The intersection was shut down for about 30 minutes, Rodgers said.

Rodgers did not immediately know what caused the crash.
