The Morton Grove Park District offered an evening of activities Jan. 13 for local students in fifth through eighth grades at Prairie View Community Center.
“We had about 18 students at Teen Night,” said Kelly Smith, facility/recreation manager. “They played basketball, wallyball. We had a Wii contest.”
Activities vary, she noted.
“We also have three dances a year for teens,” Smith said. “And the next activity night will be Friday, Feb. 17.”
Admission is free to the drop-in programs.
“But we have free photo IDs for all the kids so we know who’s in the building,” Smith said.
