JDRF’s 33rd Annual Chance of a Lifetime Gala was held Dec. 8, at McCormick Place Lakeside Ballroom and Arie Crown Theater, Chicago. Some 2,100 guests attended the gala event which raised $3 million and counting. Proceeds will be used to help find a cure for T1D (type 1 diabetes) and its complications, through research. Entertainment was a live performance by Grammy award-winning artists Kool & the Gang. See jdrfillinois.org/gala for more information.
